Overflowing Grace: When God Has Already Given More Than We Deserve

πŸ“– September 2, 2025

There are moments in life when the heart pauses in deep stillness and whispers:
“What else could God have in His plan? He has already given me more than I deserve.”

It is in such moments that peace flows in, quiet and unshakable. Grace feels heavy in the air, and we realize that the greatest treasures of life are not earned but gifted.

One night, I was given something I cannot forget — a divine timestamp: 11-22-27, 11:22.
It came and went like a gentle flash, but I felt it was real, not a dream. I had been waiting for it for so long, and when I finally received it, my heart rested. I slipped into sleep with a smile, as if heaven whispered, “Your life is already marked, your path is already protected.”

I have learned that prayer doesn’t always need to be long, filled with requests and explanations. Sometimes, the most powerful prayer is just one line, spoken with faith and gratitude:

🌿 “Thank You for what You have already prepared and kept for me.”

This prayer is not about asking, but about trusting. It carries the certainty that God’s love has already gone ahead of us, arranging everything we truly need, even before we knew to ask for it.

And with that gratitude comes a gentle promise: “I will taste God’s love.” Not in some faraway future, not only in heaven, but here, now, in the simple gifts of daily life — family, breath, peace, and the quiet joy of knowing we are cared for.

When we pray this way, we stop striving and start receiving. We stop doubting and start resting. We stop worrying about what is missing and begin to overflow with what is already present.

God’s plan, then, is not about adding to our emptiness, but about pouring into our fullness until it overflows. And in that overflow, His love becomes visible not only to us but to everyone around us.

So tonight, as I rest, I don’t ask for more. I simply say:

“Thank You, Lord, for what You have already prepared for me. I will taste Your love.”

And in that prayer, I find everything.

Let me be the pen. Lord, you be the writer!

Mercy
