Psalm 151 - By One Who Waited for Mercy to Win!

Psalm 151: The Mercy That Multiplies

1 O Lord, my soul saw what no eye has seen,
The fire that does not destroy, but awakens.
The embers touched my flesh, yet my spirit did not burn
You turned heat into coal, and coal into mystery.

2 In the space between walls, where body meets spirit,
You placed me half in heaven, half in earth
And I received the sign:
What falls in pain can multiply in grace.

3 I held the coal, and it broke into three,
And three into three again.
Your mercy cannot be counted;
It only expands when we let it go.

4 Then came the vision:

The one who turned away turned back.
Not with fear, but with understanding
Lucifer stood not to fight, but to feel.

5 In that moment, I knew
You, O Lord, would forgive him.
Not because he asked, but because he saw.
He tasted Your love, Your mercy, and Your power in equal measure.

6 Behind him stood the countless lost,
Those who followed him in confusion, in sorrow, in pride.
If he is forgiven, then so are they.
And my heart, O God, was full.

7 I waited not in worry, but in wonder.
For Your justice flows not like iron, but like living water.
You are the Shepherd who seeks even the first lost lamb,
And when that lamb returns, all heaven breathes again.

8 Am I worthy to see this?
No, yet still You showed me.
I am not a prophet, not a saint
But I am the witness You chose to stand and wait.

9 Let this vision be written,
Let it be remembered when the days grow dark.
That even the first to fall can rise,
And even the deepest shadow is not beyond Your sunrise.

10 O God of all,
Forgive not only those who ask
But those who come to understand.
For You are not a God of ends, but of returns.

11 And in my struggle, my body cried out.
The ember burned, and I fought to be free.
But she who gave me life stood near,
And did not wake me
For she knew, as only love can know:

Amen.

Let me be the pen. Lord, you be the writer!

Mercy
